Learn to prepare jobs for a modern laser system; cutting and engraving stock like acrylic, wood, textiles, and more. Implement advanced vision systems to arrange jobs with millimeter precision. Your instructor has a passion for laser manufacturing and will have you upskilled and ready to work safely with high-wattage CO₂ lasers in just two hours.
We guide you from a design file through to a finished cut on an industrial-class CO₂ machine, and cover the operational side you need to know before stepping into the workplace: extraction, fire safety, WHS, consumables and maintenance.
Developed for people who need to run a machine, not try one: startups, fabricators, prototyping and design teams, and makers with access to a professional machine through work, makerspace or university lab
This workshop is designed for adults. People under 18 are welcome to attend when accompanied by a responsible adult who is also participating.
